Roberto Budzinski — Principal Investigator
Assistant professor, Department of Neuroscience, University of Lethbridge
Tier 2 CRC in Spatiotemporal dynamics and Neural computation
Research interests: Computational neuroscience, Complex systems, Network theory, Neural computation.
Zainab Al-Rikabi — undergraduate student
Zainab is a fourth-year psychology student at University of Lethbridge with experience in behavioural coaching for individuals with disabilities and teaching assistance. Her long-term goal is to pursue a career in medicine with a strong interest in research.
Robison Silva — exchange Mitacs student
Robison is pursuing his Master's degree in Physics at the Federal University of Parana (Brazil). He is visiting our lab as a Mitacs GRA student. He is interested in time series analysis, chaos theory, and nonlinear dynamics. His project is focused on models of oscillations in brain networks.
Bianca Cestaroli — exchange Mitacs student
Bianca is a Master's student in Physiology in Brazil, and she is visiting our lab with support of the Mitacs GRA program. She is interested in sleep, memory, and cognition, and her project is focused different methods of EEG analysis with the goal of identifying brain oscillations.
Collaboration
Our group is part of the Fields Lab for Network Computation (FLNC) at the Fields Institute.
The FLNC is a joint effort led by Lyle Muller with focus on understanding neural networks through mathematical lenses.
